The following compilation of materials has been assembled in alignment with the three artistic strategies outlined in Moment 3 of the text A Fourth Life? Artistic strategies within privilege, access, and diplomacy (Section 1.1 of the Mining Life thesis). These strategies—Let’s Fake Heritage!, Let’s Smuggle Heritage!, and Let’s Build a Swedish Museum inside a Peruvian Museum!—formed the conceptual backbone of the Within Heritage Movements project.
Produced across the various sites where the project was developed—Lima, Stockholm, Gothenburg, among others—these documents offer insights into the project’s multifaceted methodology. The selection ranges from a colour palette devised by textile expert Maiko Tanaka to an official letter of request authored by the former director of the Museum of Art of Lima (MALI) and addressed to the Peruvian ambassador.
